Drew
Kendall has 27 years of administrative experience in both large corporations
and with small companies (20 years with CB&I/Shaw Environmental &
Infrastructure Inc. /IT Corporation). Over the past 7 years Drew has
fulfilled the role of Subcontract Administrator heading up procurement
responsibilities in the Cincinnati, OH, office. He is primarily responsible
for negotiating and preparing services subcontracts and material purchases
for government clients in the Mission Support Services (MSS) department.
Previously he supported the Central/Northeast Region on government and
commercial procurements. Prior to this, Drew was involved in cost scheduling
for the $160M Fernald OU1 Waste Pits Remedial Action (WPRAP) contract and the
$1M Silos Personnel Services contract in southwestern Ohio. His
responsibilities included a myriad of internal reporting relevant to the
financial condition of the project.
Mr. Kendall's prior years with Shaw
Corporation/IT Corporation were spent as a Document Controller for Fernald
and as a Proposal Writer/Administrator in the Cincinnati office. His
responsibilities included maintaining a smooth document flow and filing
system/archiving procedure for over 450 plans and procedures and over 2,500
project drawings. As a Proposal Team member he assisted in the preparation
and generation of numerous proposals, from letter-size efforts to $500M+
projects.
Before his tenure with Shaw
Corporation/IT Corporation, Mr. Kendall worked for Martin Marietta Data
Systems as a Security Administration Specialist and was responsible for
processing clearances for a 2,000-person staff. He assumed this position
after leaving the U.S. Air Force with an honorable discharge.

Manage and administrate Federal
subcontractor negotiations/subcontracts up to $9M for the Mission Services
Support department of Shaw Procurement. Process services subcontracts and
material purchases for three USEPA prime contracts located in Cincinnati and
Ada, OK. Manage service subcontracts and material purchases for the Fort
Richardson and Fort Wainwright, AK, prime contracts (both base operations
support [BOS] contracts). Prior assignments were with the Defense
Logistics Agency (DLA), Melville, RI, prime contract; the Louisville A/E
prime contract; and the U.S. Air Force Wright-Patterson AFB environmental
services prime contract. Initial assignments included lead role in processing
numerous commercial subcontracts up to $250K for the Shaw offices located in

Remedial Action Project (WPRAP) and the $1M Silos Personnel Services contract
at the Fernald Environmental Management Project, Ohio. Scope of WPRAP
comprises excavation and remediation of six contaminated waste pits over a
5-year period; Silos comprises providing personnel management/consulting
services. Specific responsibilities include:
-Prepare monthly invoice to client and
track various revenue streams.
-Track daily/monthly/cumulative tonnage
loaded out and compare it against contract, budget, and forecast; report and
track variances.
-Track actual costs and total costs
(actual costs plus accruals). Respond to management comments on variances.
-Track change orders to the original
contract and their related revenue and costs; update revised estimate and
forecasted costs accordingly.
-Manage the forecasted costs against
the estimate to complete (ETC) and total costs. Track ETC by conferring with
Project Manager to maintain accuracy.
-Track surplus funds (contingency)
resulting from monthly total cost under-runs and attend quarterly meetings
with management to distribute it and reassess the margin.
-Prepare detailed monthly Contract
Status Report (CSR).
-Prepare detailed monthly Cash Flow
spreadsheet.
-Work closely with and report financial
status and issues to Project Manager, Contracts Administrator, and Project
Business Administrator (PBA).
-Submit monthly operations schedule update
to client, using Primavera Project Scheduler (P3).
-Use company proprietary (and J.D.
Edward's-based) VISION program on the world-wide area network (WAN) to
investigate questionable costs, add work breakdown structures (WBS) to
budget, and to run various financial and manpower reports.
-Coordinate redistribution of
improperly recorded costs through company Sub-Controller for Federal DOE
Projects.
